Symptom
For setup with multiple Exchange Data Availability Groups, if one of the DAG group contain no member server, duplicate databases (that do not belong to that group) are displayed under the empty DAG group, when creating a MS Exchange mail level backup set:
In the above example, all databases are actually hosted by DAG members under group DAG-1. DAG-2 is an empty DAG group.
Cause
This is a known issue with AhsayOBM version 7.3.2.0 - 7.5.0.2.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, patch the AhsayOBM application to version 7.7.0.0 or above.
This issue affects a legacy version of our software. We strongly recommend upgrading to the latest AhsayCBS and AhsayOBM release (v9.15.0.0, as of 2025/May/15) for improved performance, compatibility, and security.
